Arco iris America is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States that through financial donations supports the social welfare projects of Fundación Arco Iris (FAI) in the city of La Paz, Bolivia.
Bolivia is a beautiful South American country committed to overcoming underdevelopment through determination, hard work, and love. It has eleven million people from various ethnic and linguistic groups. But, unfortunately, most people in Bolivia are poor; the most affected are children.
Fundación Arco Iris was founded in La Paz in 1994 by Father Jose Maria Neuenhofer. Its mission is to protect and care for street children and provide them with food, shelter, education, health care, and love. Father Jose was born in Germany in 1938. He is an educator, theologian, and promoter of cultural solidarity.
Many people in Bolivia depend on us. Every collaboration is a continuous effort to help them overcome adverse situations and pursue a better life.
Programs to rescue children living on the streets, providing them with shelter and support.
The foundation operates the Arco Iris Hospital, which provides quality medical services to low-income people
Scholarship programs, technical training and vocational training to ensure that young people have access to better opportunities
Offer shelter and psychosocial support to children and adolescents who have been abandoned or come from contexts of violence
