The CEIKU project aims to develop a comprehensive and preventive educational and social work, intervening with children and adolescents children of families in poverty and vulnerability, single-parent families, mothers, single fathers who are doing informal work earning income for daily sustenance, living in rented rooms, lacking access to health care and adequate food. It also coordinates with educational units that cover the school population; students who are behind in school, with learning problems that for different circumstances are not in school.
Through the Kurmi Utasa Children’s Center, we contributed to the integral development of 98 children from 18 months to 4 years of age, through the stimulation of social, motor and cognitive skills, encouraging the acquisition of healthy habits, good nutrition and increasing autonomy in food, hygiene, health and well-being, for their incorporation into the school stage, so that mothers can carry out their work with the assurance that the children are in good care.
