About Me:
Beate Neuenhofer is serving as Vice President and Director for Arco Iris America.
Since Beate and her husband Ansgar Neuenhofer adopted a child from Bolivia in 1995, they have been very involved in helping the street children of La Paz. In 2007, Beate started a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and became president of “Rainbow of Hope for Bolivia’s Street Children”, currently known as “Arco Iris America” in order to help raise funds and awareness in the U.S.. Arco Iris America so far has funded various social projects for street children in the amount of more than USD 200,000.
In 2008, after raising five children, Beate returned to work and joined Sports Warehouse Inc., San Luis Obispo, California. After the family relocated to Germany, Beate continued to work for their German branch Sports Warehouse GmbH/Tennis Warehouse Europe as financial coordinator and project manager.
Beate received her degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Technology at Aachen, Germany in 1989.
